Mission

The purpose of Knights Baseball will always be to build confidence, self-esteem, and a feeling of contribution within each person through their dedication to our Baseball Program. It is these traits that will help mold the individual's determination to become the best possible person and player, both on an off the field of play, throughout their lifetimes.

The coaching staff at Spotsylvania High School will always encourage open and honest communication among all team members- both staff and player. All team members will respect the dignity and diversity of each person on our team at all times. And, by doing so, we will also display undeniable team unity through strong leadership principles and trust in one another.

It is also our goal to promote the development of leadership, learning, integrity and a commitment to excellence while representing the Knights Baseball Program. Our program will be aimed at assisting our student-athletes in reaching their goals in the classroom and on the playing field so that they can, in turn, pass on these solid work habits and traits in the future. Through community service it is our goal to teach responsibility and a sense of giving back to those who need it.

The Knights Baseball Program will continually work to promote strong competition within our program as well as our opponents by providing a wide range of skill-building methods as well as informational tactics that will hopefully allow us to reach and maintain our maximum potential on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. It will be through these methods that all current and future Knights players to be recognized as true leaders among their peers and their community.
